TRIP TO VENICE - PART 6 (THE LAST ONE)

One of my best memories will certainly be the meeting with Linda !
Linda is an Italian blogger and we've been chit-chatting for about 2 years, now.
She's such a sweet woman !
Not only a very talented quilter, but also a writer (you should read her poems on women's life), and a very active and generous representative of the Italian quilters.
She blogs both in Italian and English, and her posts will always "move" something into your mind & heart...
Once this trip was organized, we both decided we had to meet in Venice.
So Linda arrived with her husband and beautiful daughter, on a bright, sunny morning.
We immediately recognized each other
and talked, and talked...
and walked and walked...
and laughed and laughed...
like all quilter friends in the world ;>)
(so did the hubbies !)
Linda spoiled me with wonderful quilty presents (thanks again, dear!),
and we really had a memorable day.
Another blessing to add into my life album
;>)

This ends that loooong report on our trip to Venice,

BACK TO QUILTING NOW !
(and, boy, there's a lot to do...)

  1. so now dear friend...you've been to Norway, Spain and Italy this past year....and I'm sure that I speak for those of us living on the North American continent....when will we get a chance to see you?

I can gather Nadine from Chicago O'Hare and show her my new state of Wisconsin...surely there must be others who would love to show her around their little corner of the world...

all in good fun sweets...but what about meeting for the basket quilt when it is displayed?
