SOME PICTURES... (5)

Bye-bye San Marino......

Hello Rimini...

This beautiful, big town, is divided into two distinctive parts : the seaside one, very modern, with a bank and a church every 400 meters, beach shops, bars, gellaterias(ice cream), hotels, etc...... and the "old town" - shown above : the historical center, where no cars are allowed, where you can see very elegant ladies, prestigious boutiques, such as Armani, La Scarpa, Gucci... è tutti quanti (etc...) - just admire, don't look at the prices !

Then return to the country side, stop by a small restaurant, proudly showing this at the entrance... and enjoy !

I couldn't send a postcard to everyone of you, my friends, but here is one from us to you all..... Do we look happy ?

Now, as a conclusion, I'll tell you that these summer vacations were a dream to cherish in our memories. DH also used a lot his film camera , for us to remember...

I only sometimes missed a Quilt Shop (not one to visit in the area... nor any quilting magazine)... but who cares for three weeks ?

I guess I'll be brave enough tomorrow, to show you the "tremendous" amount of stitching I made under the Italian sun, with temperatures rising to 100 deg. F..... (thank God, these long hot walks prevented me to gain any weight ! LOL LOL).

  1. Yes, you look very, very happy! And, very much in love. :-)

Thank you for sharing such wonderful pictures. Sadly, we didn't get to visit Italy when we lived in Europe. It was nice to visit and see it through your eyes!

  11. It looks like you had a lovely holiday. How lucky you are to live in Europe and just drive off to these marvellous places. I visited Europe about 20 yrs ago, and one day I would like to go back. It is a long way to everywhere from Australia.
